How about having more filters for the newsfeed, e.g.
"all [blog articles] out of the last [2 weeks]" - would be great, especially after a Long absence
@Sven: The problem with the top post was, that even Coyo did not understand, how the logic worked:)
But a general problem with in bigger Coyo networks is, the feeling of the users to loose track of the information. So in my opinion it is really vital to introduce something, to give users back control and the feeling they have tools to handle the information overload. E.G. Mark post for later, have a "working timeline" and a "information timeline" or filter by people, communities, pages...
Our general problem is, that acceptance is declining, because people feel overwhelmed by the information overload.

Better filtering on the newsfeed would be really helpful. A lot of the feedback we get from colleagues is that there is too much noise, too much to keep track of and this could help them manage it more easily.
In COYO3 we experienced that hardly anyone really understood the "Top posts" filter and it does not really help with the use case of coming back from holidays.
I like the idea having filters on the timeline, though. Let's see whether other customers are voting for this idea as well.

I also think it would made sense to add a filter. When people come back from vacation, they are overwhelmed with all the content in the timeline
I'd like to take up this idea. The more content we've on the platform the more people ask for ordering options / filter for their timeline. It's becoming more and more difficult to keep track. So maybe filter for pages/communities/people or content typs or chronological vs. top (as it was in V3).
