Option to auto-create group channel when creating a workspace
When creating a collaboration workspace there should be an option for creating a group channel consisting of the participants of the workspace.
the idea behind this, is to give suggestions for group chats when oppening the chat, based on the workspaces a person is in.
I don't like this idea. We have workspaces that have thousands of members. The good thing about the timeline and subscriptions approach to notifications is people can choose what they get messages about.
If all workspace posts and comments was through the instant chat this would take that control away - no doubt alienating lots of users.
This is due to the fact, that the "comment" function can only be enabled entirely, there is no possibility to restrict it for public pages, but enable it for workspaces. Our organization has decided to disable the comments entirely, therefore it is not possible to comment in workspaces. This has raised the need to auto-open a "workspace-chat", or, alternatively, seperate the comment-function between public pages and workspaces. Either one would be great.

From an information architecture perspective this would thwart the use of the timeline. Information will be lost when exchanged in a chat. I suggest using the timeline when communicationg with the whole group.
Currently you have to manually open a group chat and search for all the members. When being in a Workspace, a group chat with all the Workspace members should open automatically.
