Office365 Teams integration
Via a dedicated COYO app for MS Teams, we'll give MS Teams users the chance to get notified about important company news (i.e. blog articles published by their subscribed pages) that have just been published in COYO.
awesome pre easter news:
the COYO app for MS Teams (usable for all public cloud customers) finally made it to the public app store in Teams.
(Either just search for coyo in the app store or, even easier, this links leads you directly to the installation page: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/app/54ea4c6c-2102-40f3-b6c2-0b800c4ef847.)

steht auch "usable for all public cloud customers" in der Beschreibung
Die App scheint nur mit einer Cloud- aber nicht mit einer On Premise Lösung zu funktionieren!?
I'm very sorry to say but we're actually still fighting our way through Microsoft's validation process. Me being optimistic, I hope to be able to send our app in (again) for final validation next week.
Sorry for the delay!

two months later, how is the status on Teams App?
... and another step is done: we're currently busy testing an internal version of our app while still fighting our way through Microsoft's mysterious approval process.
Short update: next step towards the COYO app for MS Teams is done as we've just released necessary technical preparation work with v21 to the cloud.
In parallel, we're on our way to get Microsoft's approval on the first version of the app (potentially usable by all public cloud customers) to be finally able to publish it to the MS Teams app store.
thanks for taking that one @Christoph. :-)
The cloud rollout of v21 as the minimum required COYO version for our MS Teams app will take place in (beginning of) January. Apart from that, we're in close contact to Microsoft at the moment in order to get the app as such through their approval process asap.
Bottom line: we're pretty optimistic to provide our public cloud customers/users with our COYO app for MS Teams in January 2020.(Edited by admin)
Hi anonym, it seems to be in development, so Q1 could be fine: https://community.coyoapp.com/internal-roadmap The required V21 will be rolled out tonight to the cloud.
HI @all, may I ask for a new Update. I just saw that we have Version 20.4. Will you release the Version this year or Q1 2020?
sorry for my late response.
Actually, we made pretty good progress with regards to our planned COYO app for MS Teams in the past weeks so that we're now in the final stage of implementation.
We're planning to launch it as soon as we've released COYO v21 to the cloud as that version will technically be the minimum required one for our MS Teams app to work.

are there any news about that topic?
sorry but I can't give you a date right now as we're at an early stage of development.
I'll keep you posted as soon as I can give a reliable forecast date for the launch of our planned app for MS Teams.

Hi, when will be the launch of the Teams bridge?
yep, can do:
We're planning to focus on pushing 'news' from COYO to MS Teams as the first part of an integration for now. Or in other words: we want to give MS Teams users the chance to get notified about interesting blog articles that have just been published in COYO (In terms of 'interesting', we're thinking about notifying the user whenever a blog article gets published within a page that he/she is subscribed to.).
Our current approach to tackle this would be via a COYO App for MS Teams which the MS Teams admins can then provide their users with.
We've already researched into it a bit, are now finetuning our concept and would plan to actually start development in a matter of weeks.
What do you think about the approach? Would the App for MS Teams help you and your colleagues?
could you provide an update?
yes, same here. It will be a challenge but we are very optimistic that we can do it :) I'll keep you posted on our progress!

Thanks for the honest response. I haven't seen any implementation of Microsoft Teams Chat outside of Teams Web/Desktop Client. It's actually a shame because MS promote their app as the "Open" Chat application for businesses.
synching messages was our first approach which turned out to be really complicated. Therefore we changed the strategy a bit and we are actually planning to create a COYO app within teams that pushes the messages (and news) into Teams. We are also planning to provide an easy way to push messages back to COYO from Teams.
However, we are still in a very early phase of implementing this feature but I hope I could give you an idea on how we are planning to create an integration.

How are you planning to integrate the Chat function within Microsoft Teams?
Based on your latest roadmap (2018/Q4), it looks like Coyo has a Webhook in teams, and messages pushed into teams as an Coyo App.
What I would love to see is the Chat function within Coyo "Synced/Replaced" with Microsoft Teams. So when I'm communicating (1:1) with someone, the chat history is available in both worlds.
