I suggest…

Coyo SEO

The search results are not yet optimal.

Example:
There is a landing page for keyword A with all relevant information. But article is shown on 6 or 7 in the Coyo SERPs.

There should be a way of SEO and/or a way to tell Coyo what article is the most important for a specific keyword, maybe even for a specific language.

It works pretty well for files as you can put keywords in the description.

Meanwhile some colleagues ask us to remove old content because the old content shows up in the search above the relevant content.

Example for a specific key word / topic: A news from last year is listed above the landing page (wiki article or content app) that contains all of the relevant information.

Hey Sven, that would be great.

We have landing pages with information, instructions etc. for tools, proccesses etc. These pages need to be found easily.

Hey Christoph, good point. Landing pages might be hard to find with the current search algorithm since they don't really contain a lot of searchable content - also they won't be listed in the quick entity search.

We'll keep that in mind for the next optimizations. Right now we are gathering some feedback about the latest changes.

I just found this in the knowledge base:

Each result found is then evaluated according to its relevance. The following factors will be considered:

Frequency of the occurrence of the search term in a field
Frequency of the search term in the entire index (only relevant for several search terms)
Length of the content (example: if the search term is found in a title, this find is rated higher than if the term is found in a longer PDF content etc.).
