I suggest…

Enable linking to local drives

It should be possible to insert links to folders or documents on local drives (without Office 365)

The problem with this feature is that it actually poses a security risk. Linking to local files might be useful, but at the same time it opens up your users to malware risks. This is the reason why we do not currently allow file:// links in COYO.

At the moment we working together with Hirschtec on launching COYO in our company.

For the collaboration with existing systems it would be very helpful and very import that we can link on local drives. Please can you work on it, that this is possible.

Perhabs it is possible to do this explicit for our enterprise system, there we would pay also for the programming effort.

@ Jan Marquardt, this function would be very important for us, isnt there a chance to allow file:// to a specific directory? It would be nice to add a file too but the directory is much more important.

Not only. We use now the following links:
    - File file://k:/data_global/
    - our specially installed protokoll (ee … EigenEntwicklung): ee://ee_CallApplikation
    - Javascript: javascript:GetTicket(900)

Please make it configurable. We need internal links (file://) and also our own protokoll (ee://).
