Office365 Teams integration
Via a dedicated COYO app for MS Teams, we'll give MS Teams users the chance to get notified about important company news (i.e. blog articles published by their subscribed pages) that have just been published in COYO.

Just started developing our planned app for MS Teams!

Hi Volker,
sorry for my late response.
Actually, we made pretty good progress with regards to our planned COYO app for MS Teams in the past weeks so that we're now in the final stage of implementation.
We're planning to launch it as soon as we've released COYO v21 to the cloud as that version will technically be the minimum required one for our MS Teams app to work.Happy weekend

Hey there,
sorry but I can't give you a date right now as we're at an early stage of development.
I'll keep you posted as soon as I can give a reliable forecast date for the launch of our planned app for MS Teams. -

Hi, when will be the launch of the Teams bridge?

Hi Karsten,
yep, can do:
We're planning to focus on pushing 'news' from COYO to MS Teams as the first part of an integration for now. Or in other words: we want to give MS Teams users the chance to get notified about interesting blog articles that have just been published in COYO (In terms of 'interesting', we're thinking about notifying the user whenever a blog article gets published within a page that he/she is subscribed to.).
Our current approach to tackle this would be via a COYO App for MS Teams which the MS Teams admins can then provide their users with.
We've already researched into it a bit, are now finetuning our concept and would plan to actually start development in a matter of weeks. What do you think about the approach? Would the App for MS Teams help you and your colleagues?

Hey Glenn,
yes, same here. It will be a challenge but we are very optimistic that we can do it :) I'll keep you posted on our progress!
Cheers

Hi Sven,
Thanks for the honest response. I haven't seen any implementation of Microsoft Teams Chat outside of Teams Web/Desktop Client. It's actually a shame because MS promote their app as the "Open" Chat application for businesses.
Cheers

Hey Glenn,
synching messages was our first approach which turned out to be really complicated. Therefore we changed the strategy a bit and we are actually planning to create a COYO app within teams that pushes the messages (and news) into Teams. We are also planning to provide an easy way to push messages back to COYO from Teams.
However, we are still in a very early phase of implementing this feature but I hope I could give you an idea on how we are planning to create an integration.

Hi,
How are you planning to integrate the Chat function within Microsoft Teams?
Based on your latest roadmap (2018/Q4), it looks like Coyo has a Webhook in teams, and messages pushed into teams as an Coyo App.
What I would love to see is the Chat function within Coyo "Synced/Replaced" with Microsoft Teams. So when I'm communicating (1:1) with someone, the chat history is available in both worlds.
