Currently notifications are sent by default to all users when publishing a blog post. In our usecase we don't want these notifications most of the time. The result is, that we have to remember unchecking the notification box in the publish tab everytime.
It would be great to have the option to define the default setting for notifications to all users in the settings page of the blog app - i.e. send them yes/no.
This option can be overwritten by the settings in the blog post.7 votes
We got our company own marketplace in Coyo where users can put things for sale. We are currently using a blog-app for that but the blog-app permissions (every user can edit/delete or noone can edit/delete) are obstructing us.
On top of that we would like the attached images to these posts be linked to the post, so that if the post gets deleted, the attached images in the document-app will be deleted too.6 votes
Sometimes it is necessary to document that certain coworkers have read a post (e.g., new service instructions). It would therefore be useful if it would be possible to request read confirmations in blog posts from the users.9 votes
For a better overview. Right now, the news are pretty fragmented.

The selection for the advanced layout modus should be on the top right. People do not find it on the bottom and it is really annoying, if you want to change something in a long article, you need to scroll all the way down for selection and then up again to change something and than down again for saving.3 votes
