Adjust columns in list app, forms app and documents app
The collums in a list app have to be adjustable in width for better usability. ATM long texts go on for ever due to an automatically narrow setting of the collum width whereas a date takes up half the page.

As Sven already stated we started with creating concept and visuals. However, development of this improvement has not started yet but is still planned.

We added some smaller improvement for this by replacing links with buttons and making the columns more adaptable to their content. This is still no overall solution but since this is one of the most voted topics we will keep on working on this.

I have tried to use the form app to capture feedback from my community and then to be used by them.
while the collection part went very nice and easy, the part of looking at the info is a mess : the columns are all jumbled up and you can't see anything. this is creatingbad customer experience and makes the functionality totally useless. when will this be fixed?is there anything to do about it? can it be fixed?

Note: If you don't want to wait for the version 14 to be released for the on premise version: We also patched the optimized columns for the file library into version 10.0.26.

With the upcoming cloud release (15.x.) and also the on premise release (14.x) we will at least display links as buttons which already saves a lot of space.
But we will keep on working a solution to adjust the columns of a list and forms app furthermore.

Are there any news on this feature? We are really waiting for this. This problem has had a significant impact on the acceptance of the system with our users. Because of this, many users actually have stated that to them, the system is utterly useless.

It is important that the view of lists and forms is also going to be improved very quickly. Currently it ca only be used in a very limited way due to the difficult bad view. Thanks for working on that.

Yes, that is a great quick win for the problem with the columns. We'll try to squeeze this in as an improvement.

Ok, it's created now as a separate idea - "List app: Link button instead of URL"

@Sven, in the past (Coyo V3) the "link" field displayed only a small button for the link, currectly it is showing the whole URL. Is this going to be adjusted with this update as well please?

Yes, I have some good news. At least for the documents app we were now able to resolve this problem. A fix will be available for version 13.0.3 which will be released to the cloud in the next 2 weeks.
We are still working on a solution for the list and form app, though.

Any progress on this yet Sven? :) The narrow columns really are a pain and this app has so much potential - when can we expect this to be fixed?

Are there any news on this topic? This is becoming a major problem with us, we could really use this feature.
Thanks in advance.

This is really necessary. Would be great to combine it with this story: http://community.coyoapp.com/forums/306010-coyo/suggestions/33249715-sorting-options-within-document-app

Yes, it is :)

Is sorting the document app by the different columns (like sorting by date, like in V3) in this story included?

This please! There is so much white space within the other columns which is unnecessary.
