    Hi,

I'm very sorry to say but we're actually still fighting our way through Microsoft's validation process. Me being optimistic, I hope to be able to send our app in (again) for final validation next week.
    Sorry for the delay!

... and another step is done: we're currently busy testing an internal version of our app while still fighting our way through Microsoft's mysterious approval process.

Short update: next step towards the COYO app for MS Teams is done as we've just released necessary technical preparation work with v21 to the cloud.
In parallel, we're on our way to get Microsoft's approval on the first version of the app (potentially usable by all public cloud customers) to be finally able to publish it to the MS Teams app store.

    Hi,
thanks for taking that one @Christoph. :-)

The cloud rollout of v21 as the minimum required COYO version for our MS Teams app will take place in (beginning of) January. Apart from that, we're in close contact to Microsoft at the moment in order to get the app as such through their approval process asap.
Bottom line: we're pretty optimistic to provide our public cloud customers/users with our COYO app for MS Teams in January 2020.

    Hi Volker,

    sorry for my late response.
Actually, we made pretty good progress with regards to our planned COYO app for MS Teams in the past weeks so that we're now in the final stage of implementation.
We're planning to launch it as soon as we've released COYO v21 to the cloud as that version will technically be the minimum required one for our MS Teams app to work.

    Happy weekend

    Hey there,

sorry but I can't give you a date right now as we're at an early stage of development.
I'll keep you posted as soon as I can give a reliable forecast date for the launch of our planned app for MS Teams.

    Hi Karsten,

    yep, can do:
We're planning to focus on pushing 'news' from COYO to MS Teams as the first part of an integration for now. Or in other words: we want to give MS Teams users the chance to get notified about interesting blog articles that have just been published in COYO (In terms of 'interesting', we're thinking about notifying the user whenever a blog article gets published within a page that he/she is subscribed to.).
Our current approach to tackle this would be via a COYO App for MS Teams which the MS Teams admins can then provide their users with.
We've already researched into it a bit, are now finetuning our concept and would plan to actually start development in a matter of weeks.

What do you think about the approach? Would the App for MS Teams help you and your colleagues?

    Hi Oliver and Gerhard!
We are currently working on a new concept for the global search and in that process we are reviewing all community entries related to that topic, just like this one.

We have been testing around with a permanently opened search bar a few years back and most customers did not like it as it cramps up the main menu bar too much.

However we have a shortcut! Try pressing the letter "S" on your keyboard when using COYO, the search will open automatically and you can start typing your search term straight away.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Alexander,

's' for search is currently the only shortcut (I'm actually thinking about a shortcut for accessing the launchpad but it's not there yet. If you have specific shortcut ideas that would help you and your users in COYO, just let me know via new suggestions.).

Regarding your workspace case: maybe you just wanna explain them the 'mark as favorite' feature again... ;-)
But anyways, I'm gonna leave this suggestion open a bit and then we'll see if there's support in the community for it.

    Best regards

    Hi Alexander,

    thanks for your suggestion.

Yep, you're right. The search functionality in the 'subscriptions' widget has been removed during the respective migration / improvement.
Our motivation behind it was to remove complexity from COYO as we now offer a pretty convenient way to quickly access a page/workspace via the global search (suggestions):
From anywhere in COYO you can access the global search via the keyboard shortcut 's' and just start typing the page/workspace you want to navigate to. It will then appear as a suggestion in the dropdown and you can access it.

Does that help you or are you still a fan of the dedicated search possibility within the widget?

    Best regards

    Hi,

I've some good news for you: we found a feasible solution to offer a zooming option for images on mobile devices. We're currently in the last steps of our development process regarding the issue, so that it will be available with one of the next major cloud versions. Will keep you posted!
(Restriction: mobile zooming for images is going to be reachable via our preview screen, so that it will only help for images for which we already offer a preview.)

    Hi there,
as mentioned by Sven, we absolutely acknowledge the value add an auto follow functionality.
But as can be seen on our roadmap, we've got quite a few topics with higher priority at the moment so that we're still waiting for a fitting development slot to implement this.

    Hi there,

sorry to tell you but after a deeper look into this we found out that a simple referrer change is not a feasible solution for us. So unfortunately no quick fix in sight.
Due to a bunch of topics with higher priority, we need to postpone this one.

    Hey there!
I wanted to let you know that we've just started to work on improving the deletion management of comments. As a first step, we're going to restrict the permission to delete comments to the author of the specific comment, admin(-s) of the affected area and moderator(-s). That way, normal users won't be able to just delete any comment under their own piece of content anymore.

    OK, got it.
I guess, our planned improvement of the subscription widget might at least help you to quickly access those items that are located in your favorite workspaces (and must-follow pages) by offering you kind of a shortcut to those areas.
Apart from that, I'm curious to see how many more users think that your suggested history would be helpful.

    Hi Christoph!
Thanks for your suggestion. I suspect your idea is to have your most relevant pages / workspaces etc. always on hand, right?
We're actually planning to improve the subscription widget in that direction in the near future. As Sven described here (https://community.coyoapp.com/admin/v3/suggestions/9040615/), the current idea is to add new sorting criteria for both, pages and workspaces. The first pages shown would be must-follow pages and the first workspaces would be the ones marked as favorites by the user (new functionality).

Would that be helpful for your issue?

    Hi Pia,

    interesting idea.
Have you thought about using Hashtags to sort your content and make it findable more easily?
You could just add one or more hashtags to your content and users clicking on them would find all the other contents that are tagged with this Hashtag. Apart from that, users would find all the results when actively searching for that specific hashtag. Plus, people can even follow hashtags to get updated whenever the hashtag is used again.
Would that be a way to go for you?

    Hi Larissa,

    thanks for your input.
You're right. At the moment, we apply an AND connection in case of several selected workspace categories. There is already another suggestion in our community to change that to an OR connection in order to give you the possibility to broaden your search/results. That's why I'm gonna merge your suggestion into that one.
