    Hi Christoph,

we removed the search functionality from the widget as a little step towards reducing complexity of the product.
For workspaces, marking your favorite ones within the widget should help to be able to quickly access those.
For pages, you might just switch to the quick entity search by just pressing the shortcut 's'.

Does that help you with your issue?

    Hey there,

sorry but I can't give you a date right now as we're at an early stage of development.
I'll keep you posted as soon as I can give a reliable forecast date for the launch of our planned app for MS Teams.

AdminMarco Wilhelm (Product Manager, COYO) commented  ·

    Hi Karsten,

    yep, can do:
We're planning to focus on pushing 'news' from COYO to MS Teams as the first part of an integration for now. Or in other words: we want to give MS Teams users the chance to get notified about interesting blog articles that have just been published in COYO (In terms of 'interesting', we're thinking about notifying the user whenever a blog article gets published within a page that he/she is subscribed to.).
Our current approach to tackle this would be via a COYO App for MS Teams which the MS Teams admins can then provide their users with.
We've already researched into it a bit, are now finetuning our concept and would plan to actually start development in a matter of weeks.

What do you think about the approach? Would the App for MS Teams help you and your colleagues?

    Hi,

I've some good news for you: we found a feasible solution to offer a zooming option for images on mobile devices. We're currently in the last steps of our development process regarding the issue, so that it will be available with one of the next major cloud versions. Will keep you posted!
(Restriction: mobile zooming for images is going to be reachable via our preview screen, so that it will only help for images for which we already offer a preview.)

    Hi Martin,

yep, as soon as the respective document app is configured to send out 'new document notification(s)', users will be notified about newly uploaded documents as well as about documents for which a new version has been uploaded.
Does that help you or do you have another use case in mind?

    Hey there,

I'm happy to be able to give you an update on our launchpad initiative: we split it into several topics that we currently plan to tackle one after the other.
    - First one will be to improve the current launchpad focussing on user friendliness. Links and the regarding information will be addable more comfortably & the launchpad in general will be much more fun to use and look at. We're currently finetuning the concept for it and development will start soon.
    - Second in line will be circling around integrating O365 into the launchpad. We plan to give (O365) users the chance to jump into 'their' O365 apps directly from the launchpad (most probably to be enabled via admin).

As Sven already mentioned in this thread, there are more launchpad related things that we might put a focus on in the future. However, the two above mentioned topics are the ones we decided to tackle with priority.

    Hi there,

sorry to tell you but after a deeper look into this we found out that a simple referrer change is not a feasible solution for us. So unfortunately no quick fix in sight.
Due to a bunch of topics with higher priority, we need to postpone this one.

AdminMarco Wilhelm (Product Manager, COYO) commented  ·

    Hi Max,

we had a look into it and decided to squeeze in your suggested referrer change on short notice. I'll keep you posted about when you can expect it to be live.

Thanks for the hint, Nik. Might indeed be a handy workaround for others as well.
Concerning the different approaches tackling multilinguality that will be in our product once we released the automatic translation functionality for timeline posts, I'd again like to stress our agile and iterative approach. Once, the automatic approach has proven to be accepted / successful, I can absolutely see it rolled out further into our product. At some point in time, the current manual translation approach for content creation might then be replaced by it. Let's see... ;-)

AdminMarco Wilhelm (Product Manager, COYO) commented  ·

    Hi Nik,

for the first iteration, we're planning to stick to texts within timeline posts only. Comments will then be one of the most likely followups.
Would you say that the possibility to translate comments is crucial for your users?

AdminMarco Wilhelm (Product Manager, COYO) commented  ·

    Hi Christoph,

as we want to give you the freedom to choose the provider that suits your needs best (eg focus on data protection, amount of supported languages) and as there are customers already having agreements with one of those translation providers in place, we decided to leave this choice up to you. Consequently, you would have to bear the costs of the agreement with your chosen provider.

The mentioned changes have just been released to the cloud with version 17.x.x and are also included in the latest EE version (released with 14.7.0).

    Hey there!
I wanted to let you know that we've just started to work on improving the deletion management of comments. As a first step, we're going to restrict the permission to delete comments to the author of the specific comment, admin(-s) of the affected area and moderator(-s). That way, normal users won't be able to just delete any comment under their own piece of content anymore.

This issue is planned and we will start developing it as soon as we can free up resources for that task. Unfortunately there are a few other items with a higher priority on our table right now. We’ll keep you posted about the progress.

    I'll keep you posted.

    OK, got it.
I guess, our planned improvement of the subscription widget might at least help you to quickly access those items that are located in your favorite workspaces (and must-follow pages) by offering you kind of a shortcut to those areas.
Apart from that, I'm curious to see how many more users think that your suggested history would be helpful.

AdminMarco Wilhelm (Product Manager, COYO) commented  ·

    Hi Christoph!
Thanks for your suggestion. I suspect your idea is to have your most relevant pages / workspaces etc. always on hand, right?
We're actually planning to improve the subscription widget in that direction in the near future. As Sven described here (https://community.coyoapp.com/admin/v3/suggestions/9040615/), the current idea is to add new sorting criteria for both, pages and workspaces. The first pages shown would be must-follow pages and the first workspaces would be the ones marked as favorites by the user (new functionality).

Would that be helpful for your issue?

    Hi Pia,

    interesting idea.
Have you thought about using Hashtags to sort your content and make it findable more easily?
You could just add one or more hashtags to your content and users clicking on them would find all the other contents that are tagged with this Hashtag. Apart from that, users would find all the results when actively searching for that specific hashtag. Plus, people can even follow hashtags to get updated whenever the hashtag is used again.
Would that be a way to go for you?

Love the idea, especially when COYO will get to a certain market-size, this could become a must-have feature. However, this will not be a priority in the foreseeable future. A workaround could be to have one white-labeled Engage app and one default Engage app on your phone. White-labeling for Engage is on our roadmap.
