This issue is planned and we will start developing it as soon as we can free up resources for that task. Unfortunately there are a few other items with a higher priority on our table right now. We’ll keep you posted about the progress.

Just a sidekick: Notifications work great within this community platform...

You see author, topic, content and even have a clickable link. Should be possible in Coyo also...

    Guido Greger commented  ·

We urgently support this feature request.

It was possible in Coyo 3 to see authors, topics of new entries. So our users, who are also not "always on", could easily decide, if a news is relevant to them and fire up Coyo.

With the switch to Coyo 4 the detailed notifications are gone. It's a real big backdrop for us. We see a big decline in daily users since Coyo 4. One big reason seem to be the completely useless notifications.

It should be possible to re-activate a feature which already existed - even though Coyo 4 is a completely new platform.

Indeed, this feature is extremely important.
Also, moving contents between apps (i.e. blog articles from one blog app to another, or wiki, or calendar...) would be helpful, when rearranging content within Coyo.

We are considering a restructure of our social intranet.

It would be a big time-saver, if we could move existing entries from blogs or wikis to other (new) blogs/wikis. Either on the same page/workspace of even on other pages/workspaces.

This feature might also be useful for calendar-entries of other apps.

We are planning to support mov videos as well to make it easier to upload videos from mobile devices. We are checking the technical impact to display a preview in the timeline right away. This could affect the overall performance of the platform since it takes a lot of bandwidth to stream videos.

Sometimes one click makes the difference...
Our users made heavy use of the direct dialogue function.

Another aspect is, that the widget looks kind of empty and wastes space.

    Guido Greger commented  ·

@Christoph: That's correct. But it's more concenient to have the possibility to contact colleagues directly.

This should also be possible for inactive users.
We use an external registration routine which sets up inactive users. It is currently not possible to generate a password or send a welcome-mail, as it is possible when manually registering a new user.

This would also be useful for documents like order sheets. It should be possible to specify a start and end date for every element within coyo (blog articles, pages, events, documents, etc.).
