The poll widget could be used for that! In addition we are working on a feature where you can add a simple poll / question directly into any timeline (as a post). Would that solve your problem?
Hey Marcel, would an Organization chart app solve your problem? Cause that's something we are going to work on in the future: http://community.coyoapp.com/forums/306010/suggestions/18723982
At the moment even the superadmin can't import files to the list app. For him the same technical restrictions would apply.
fgetcsv is not on option since COYO is a Java application ;) But, yeah - basically it would be possible to create a very basic import with some restrictions (e.g. all fields are text fields after import).
Let's se how many people are voting for this feature. If there is a high demand for this, we will figure something out.
Generally I like this idea! Though, I am not quite sure how to import data from excel to a list app. The main problem would be that the Excel sheet can contain any untyped data in any appearance. How would you determine which data represents one item in the list app? One column? One row? What about incomplete rows or merged cells? What's the type of the data in one Excel cell? Is it a link? a number, simple text?
I agree, that this would be a great feature, but this might get really complex and cumbersome in handling that the feature might end up being to difficult and frustrating to use in the end.
Hey, what exactly do you mean by row model? So, if I get this right you'd like to have a description per list app. Something like we provide for the forms app?
Unfortunately it is not a no-brainer. In the case of a newly created page it would totally make sense to remove the subscriptions for everyone but what if this happens to a page that already had subscriptions? Ideally you would remove the subscriptions that were added by the auto-subscription feature but leave the subscriptions that were created manually by the users themselves. Unfortunately we can't identify which is which.
Another use case: What about pages that existed for quite a while (with auto-subscription for everyone) and users got used to be subscribed to this page. Now an admin decides that users should be able to unsubscribe from this page manually. If everyone was removed from the subscriptions list of a page when auto subscription is turned off - one could get confused why he or she is not following this page anymore.
I understand the use case you are describing but there are also reasons to leave it as is.
There is already a history for wiki articles but we don't have diffs between versions right now.
Hey Christoph, can you give me an example why the language switch should be displayed so prominently? I would have thought that changing the language is something that one is not doing so often?!
I did some research on this topic and I also saw that there are some options. However, I am unsure about the impact on the performance due to additional requests (image urls) and the actual replacing of the emoticons itself.
I don't think that this is possible. As far as I know, emoticons always depend on the operating system.
Yes, a Kanban board is on the roadmap for a long time now. I doubt we will be able to implement one in the next versions (3.4 or 4.0), but it is definitely a good idea for 4.1 or 4.2.
Great idea! We’ll have a closer look into it.
